Small multi-stemmed tree to 4m.
Straight woody paired spines.
Leaves clustered on dwarf side shoots below spines.
Small greenish-white flowers in Winter and Spring.
Light brown edible fruits.
Good Bonsai subject.
Should be sown in Spring when the difference between day and night temperatures is about 12°C.
