A small tree with very attractive flowers.
Deciduous woody shrub or small tree up to 4m.
Dark green leathery leaves.
Large flowers without petals, numerous white stamens that turn pink as they age.
“Sow them in a seed tray, in a well-drained mixture of 3 parts sand and 1 part potting soil. Place the trays on a raised bench under 30% shade netting and keep moist. Expect germination between 7 to 10 days. It is recommended to treat the seeds with a fungicide.” – PlantZAfrica
Should be sown in Spring when the difference between day and night temperatures is about 12°C.
