Distinct stapeliad with stout stems 80-100mm tall.
Dense clusters of dark red almost black flowers, up to 50mm wide.
Robust mat-forming plant with 3cm thick stems
Flowers cream outside & red-brown inside with yellow spots
Should be sown in Spring when the difference between day and night temperatures is about 12°C
