Long vines grow from the caudex and can reach lengths in season
The funny caudex looks much like an elephants foot
Male flowers are borne in small bunches and female flowers are born separately and are solitary
Both appear on the same plant, yellow /orange
Fruit is long and orange with spots
Should be sown in Spring when the difference between day and night temperatures is about 12°C.
