A very straggling species with a few leaves below
The flowering branches nearly or quite bare of leaves
The flowers are small, few and distant, growing from the axils of depauperated leaves
It resembles Hermannia patula but is much less hairy and its leaves are differently shaped
Should be sown in Autumn when the difference between day and night temperatures is about 12°C.
