“Zebra haworthia”

A small stemless, clustering perennial succulent.

Forms rosettes of dark green leaves up to 15o mm in diameter, with white tubercles.

Flowers white with green veins in an inflorescence up to 400 mm tall.

Flowers mainly early summer.

Should be sown in Spring when the difference between day and night temperatures is about 12°C.

Seed should be sown in spring and early summer.
Sterilise your soil in an oven for about 45 minutes at 180 deg C or in a microwave for 3 minutes.
You can treat with a fungicide instead of sterilising the soil.
Moisten the soil before sowing the seeds.
Grow in well-drained soil cover the seed with a very fine layer of sandy gravel.
Put the pot in a cool shady position.
Seed should be kept moist during the first few weeks and should start to germinate in about 2-3 weeks.
