A very unique erica, the “Sticky Heath” produces green sticky flowers, which can be seen from mid Summer to mid Winter. The 1m tall, thin and sturdy stems are bare with small light green leaves, which compliment beautifully the spectacular and understated pale green bells dotted in groups near the tips of the branches. Relatively hardy, it will tolerate a range of Mediterranean conditions and requires a sunny position with sandy acidic soil.
A smoke treatment is necessary to support germination. Please see our Cape Seed Smoke Primer – sold separately.
