An upright, well-branched shrublet, between 0.7 to 1.0 m tall.
With red, white and magenta lantern-shaped flowers that can be seen from autumn up until mid-summer.
Growing naturally in seepage areas, this stunning species requires full or morning sun and deep, well-drained, moist, sandy soils.
A smoke treatment is necessary to support the germination of the seed. Please see our Cape Seed Smoke Primer – sold separately.
Should be sown in Autumn when the difference between day and night temperatures is about 12°C (when nights are cool but days are still warm.)
