Insectivorous, sprawling erect perennial to 35cm,
Very deep-rooted, with unbranched leafy stem.
Leaves oblanceolate, densely rusty-hairy underneath,
With flowers magenta or purple flowering in Spring, only open in sunlight,
Winter rain
Should be sown in Autumn when the difference between day and night temperatures is about 12°C.
