A perennial geophyte.
Characterized by their attractive violet to purple flowers.
The flattened stems reach a height of about 200-300mm and occasionally 400mm.
Require full sun and good rich soil with plenty of compostor peat and watered regularly througout the year.
Should be sown in Autumn when the difference between day and night temperatures is about 12°C.
