Description
ASPHODELACEAE
Grow as solitary rosettes or rarely form small groups.
Stems are short or absent. The leaves curve inward making a neat round head.
Each leaf is narrow and triangular, greyish-green or reddish green (during the dry ingredients).
there are two short rows of spines along the middle of both the upper and lower surfaces.
Flowers dull red in the bud stage but becomes pale greenish yellow when it opens.
Should be sown in Spring when the difference between day and night temperatures is about 12°C.
