Much-branched, resprouting shrublet to 80 cm.
Leaves 1-foliolate, elliptic to obovate, silky or glabrescent above, silky or felted beneath.
Flowers pink and white; bracts broadly ovate to depressed ovate.
Should be sown in Autumn when the difference between day and night temperatures is about 12°C .
