Pale blue, yellow or white pealing bark, up to 10m high.
Sharp, paired hooked thorns.
Whitish flowers in spikes.
Fruit is a straight leathery pod with compressed seeds
Should be sown in Spring when the difference between day & night temperatures is about 12°C .
