A short-creeping semi-erect stem of up to 500mm, with about 30 recurved leaves in a dense rosette.
Bright green leaves, long and are densely spotted on both surfaces. margins have pinkish brown prickles.
Dark-pinkish flowers are typically constricted in the middle with basal swelling, covered in a conspicuous greyish white powdery bloom.
Should be sown in Spring when the difference between day and night temperatures is about 12°C.
