Growing Hints
- Seed should be sown in spring and early summer.
- Sterilise your soil in an oven for about 45 minutes at 180 deg C or in a microwave for 3 minutes.
- You can treat with a fungicide instead of sterilising the soil.
- Moisten the soil before sowing the seeds.
- Grow in well-drained soil cover the seed with a very fine layer of sandy gravel.
- Put the pot in a cool shady position.
- Seed should be kept moist during the first few weeks and should start to germinate in about 2-3 weeks.
