Small annual herb
They are often multi-stemmed from the base, up to c. 20 cm tall.
Leaves in whorls along the stems, sessile, linear, often bluish-green, hairless.
Flowers greenish-white.
Should be sown in Autumn or Spring when the difference between day and night temperatures is about 12°C
