Branches whorled, spreading-ascending and rebranching
With quite large leaves in close parallel ranks near the tips of the light, ascending branches.
Leaves obovate transversely elliptic, greenish-yellow
Male flowers and female flowers smooth, pale brown with irregular blotches.
Close to bright and sunny areas
Should be sown in Spring when the difference between day and night temperatures is about 12°C.
The plant’s milky sap can irritate skin and eyes
