This plant was previously called Elytropappus rhinocerotis.
A single-stemmed, usually smallish shrub up to 2m high.
Shoot growth happens in summer, flowering occurs in early winter, and seeds are shed in late winter.
Small ericoid leaves, tiny yellowish flowers.
Plants are fast-growing and thought to be quite long-lived.
Should be sown in Autumn when the difference between day and night temperatures is about 12°C .
