Attractive dainty cormous geophyte grows to 30-60cm
Diffusely branched flowers lax on grass-like wiry spikes
Small bilabiate(two-lips) cream pale-yellow, lower tepals streaked with red brown in midline.
Mostly in sheltered areas on sandstone or limestone.
Excellent shade plant for dry areas in July -September.
Should be sown in Autumn when the difference between day and night temperatures is about 12°C.
